Hasta La Vista

Got my work laptop this afternoon, a Dell Latitude D630. It's got Windows XP. Wow, I can't help but admire my Vista-slash-Samsung machine all the more. I love Vista. Got it?

I repeat -- I LOVE WINDOWS VISTA!

Haha, now, where did all the bad press came from?

Can't Hardly Wait

It's almost midnight, and I have to wake up at 4AM. Oh, yeah!

My flight is going to be pushed back, at least unofficially, to June 15, instead of June 6. I hope this would remain unofficial.

Crunch Time

This is definitely crunch time for my Ateneo project. I have to deliver everything by Friday morning. I was thinking of not sleeping tonight but some sort of head-ache is punishing me.

All the Good Ones Are Taken

Apparently, all the good residential spaces for rent here in the Pasay Gil Puyat area are either taken or too expensive. I can always go home to our abode in Cavite, which, by the way, is also rented, and there, I'll live with my mother. But well...

I'm quite tired of the search, since we've been doing this for over a month.

And I'm also quite tired of chasing something, but that is another story altogether. I am physically and emotionally exhausted. I think I better rest now.

My Name Is

Attendant 1: Sir, can I have your name?
Ver: Ver.
Attendant 1: One Signature Hot Chocolate, Tall for Burp.
Attendant 2: Burp?
Attendant 1: Burp.

After a few minutes...

Attendant 2: One Signature Hot Chocolate for Verb!

06.07.08

Just a quick update. I'm expected to arrive in Richmond, Virginia on June 7. The flight would apparently push through if and only if the colleague I'm going to travel with will be able to get his US Visa in time (on Wednesday). The business requirement says that I can't fly without him.

La Visa Loca

The US Visa has finally been granted to me. Yipee. The sad news is that, my partner is not yet on board and I'm gonna have to wait for the actual flight schedule, which could be as early as the first week of June or, please forbid, the last week of June.
